T-shirt Competition Idea

This is based off of several very similar shirts. It's trying to capture a sort of "high school club budget" shirt motif, where an actually printed shirt emulates a shirt upon which a piece of paper with writing or drawings on it has been cheaply taped on.

An early stage of a t-shirt idea I had.

Animal Art (polygonal)

A Red Tailed Hawk from Ohio.
 Something a bit simpler and far rougher.

The hawk above is probably the best piece of all of my creations for the class. The shapes both creating and replacing lines. The black lining the eye, giving it a sharper piercing stare. The way that the lips contrast each other and allow the viewer the infer the separation from that contrast. I really strived to try and create the flow of color the original had, sampling finer where there was more detail, and using larger triangles where there wasn't as much info to convey. 

Zen art 1&2

 Some military armaments I've drawn in a sketchy style.






I tend to find a sort of loose sketched style the easiest to do without thinking about it overlymuch. Simple back and forth strokes that I press and hold back as needed to create the shading, preferring to not leave too much positive space without that being an absolute white.

Leading Lines

This was sort of as an attempt to create a more geometric abstract leading line object, intended to lead the viewer to the center of the hand guard, where I was going to place the focal point.

Wing Thing V.2

Made it red and sketched it.

Honestly it's a bit plain, it was meant to create a sort of "wing" aesthetic. It didn't work out too great, but time is rolling forever on.
