A Red Tailed Hawk from Ohio.
Something a bit simpler and far rougher.The hawk above is probably the best piece of all of my creations for the class. The shapes both creating and replacing lines. The black lining the eye, giving it a sharper piercing stare. The way that the lips contrast each other and allow the viewer the infer the separation from that contrast. I really strived to try and create the flow of color the original had, sampling finer where there was more detail, and using larger triangles where there wasn't as much info to convey.
